Fly High

This article talks about different kind of pilots and how pilots can be paid for the adventures they undertake in their daily work. Some of the pilots that fly, fly passengers across the country or even around the world, some also fly for the military.

From Student to Teacher:
This part of the article introduced a guy named Barrington Irving and how he become the youngest person to fly solo around the world, and a pilot. At first, he didn’t think he could become a pilot because he thought that he wasn’t smart enough and because where he came from they didn’t fly. But this guy Capt. Gary Robinson a pilot for United Airlines told him that if he can do it so could he. Then, Robinson took Irving to an airport to see the cockpit of a Boeing 777 and that’s when Robinson was hooked on the idea of becoming a pilot. He also took many lessons for flying and practiced it. After a few years after that he earned licenses as a private pilot, a commercial pilot, and a flight instructor.

My thoughts about this article is that it was very interesting to read about, and that being a pilot makes me think that it can be fun and in control of planes and stuff.
